Ley ist eine französische Gemeinde mit 102 Einwohnern (Stand 1. Januar 2019) im Département Moselle in der Region Grand Est (bis 2015 Lothringen). Sie gehört zum Arrondissement Sarrebourg-Château-Salins.
Geografie
Die Gemeinde Ley liegt auf halbem Weg zwischen Nancy und Sarrebourg, etwa zehn Kilometer südöstlich von Vic-sur-Seille im Saulnois auf einer Höhe zwischen 202 und 264 m über dem Meeresspiegel. Das Gemeindegebiet umfasst 6,13 km².
Geschichte
Im Mittelalter hieß das Dorf auf Deutsch Laar. 1940–1944 trug es den verdeutschten Namen Leyen.
