Unternehmensgeschichte

Charles Schaudel hatte in seinem Unternehmen Ateliers Schaudel in Bordeaux Automobile hergestellt. 1902 übernahm Émile Dombret das Unternehmen und benannte es in Automobiles Motobloc um. Als Markenname wurde Motobloc gewählt, da Motor und Getriebe miteinander verblockt waren. 1930 endete die Produktion.

Fahrzeuge

Das erste Modell entsprach weitgehend einem Modell von Schaudel und hatte einen Zweizylindermotor. 1904 folgte das erste Vierzylindermodell, und 1909 das erste Sechszylindermodell. Es waren qualitativ hochwertige Fahrzeuge.

1927 bestand das Angebot aus Vierzylindermodellen mit Hubräumen zwischen 1327 cm³ und 3000 cm³. 1929 wurden das Vierzylindermodell 9 CV mit 1453 cm³ Hubraum sowie die beiden Sechszylindermodelle 10 CV mit 1683 cm³ und 15 CV mit 3013 cm³ Hubraum angeboten.

Ein Fahrzeug dieser Marke ist im Automuseum Col·lecció d’Automòbils de Salvador Claret in Sils zu besichtigen.
