Geografie
Die Gemeinde Fontanil-Cornillon liegt an der Isère, nordwestlich von Grenoble am Fuß des Chartreuse-Massivs. Sie wird vom Fluss Isère. Das Gemeindegebiet liegt teilweise im Regionalen Naturpark Chartreuse.
