Geographie
Poisat ist eine banlieue vier Kilometer südöstlich des Stadtzentrums von Grenoble. Umgeben wird Poisat von seinen Nachbargemeinden Grenoble im Norden, Saint-Martin-d’Hères im Nordosten, Herbeys im Südosten, Brié-et-Angonnes im Süden sowie Eybens im Westen.
