Geografie
Saint-Ail liegt etwa 18 Kilometer nordwestlich von Metz. Umgeben wird Saint-Ail von den Nachbargemeinden Sainte-Marie-aux-Chênes im Norden und Osten, Amanvillers im Südosten, Vernéville im Süden, Jouaville im Westen und Südwesten sowie Batilly im Westen.
