Ville-au-Montois liegt etwa 35 Kilometer südwestlich von Luxemburg. Umgeben wird Ville-au-Montois von den Nachbargemeinden Baslieux im Norden und Nordwesten, Laix im Norden, Morfontaine im Norden und Nordosten, Fillières im Osten, Joppécourt im Süden sowie Bazailles im Westen.
