Vougrey liegt etwa 29 Kilometer südsüdöstlich von Troyes. Umgeben wird Vougrey von den Nachbargemeinden Lantages im Norden, Süden und Westen, Jully-sur-Sarce im Norden und Osten sowie Villiers-sous-Praslin im Süden.
