Cormost liegt etwa 15 Kilometer südsüdöstlich von Troyes. Umgeben wird Cormost von den Nachbargemeinden Les Bordes-Aumont im Norden, Saint-Thibault im Nordosten, Montceaux-lès-Vaudes im Osten und Südosten, Les Loges-Margueron im Süden sowie La Vendue-Mignot im Westen.
