Buxeuil liegt etwa 28 Kilometer südöstlich von Troyes an der Seine. Nachbargemeinden sind Polisy im Norden und Westen, Celles-sur-Ource im Norden und Nordosten, Neuville-sur-Seine im Süden und Osten sowie Balnot-sur-Laignes im Südwesten.
