Maupas liegt etwa 18 Kilometer südlich von Troyes. Umgeben wird Maupas von den Nachbargemeinden Longeville-sur-Mogne im Norden und Nordwesten, Osten, Jeugny im Süden, Crésantignes im Westen sowie Javernant im Nordwesten.
