Geographie
Moranville liegt etwa 16 Kilometer östlich von Verdun. Umgeben wird Moranville mit den Nachbargemeinden Abaucourt-Hautecourt im Norden, Herméville-en-Woëvre im Nordosten, Grimaucourt-en-Woëvre im Osten, Blanzée im Süden, Moulainville im Westen und Südwesten sowie Eix im Westen.
