Béthelainville liegt etwa elf Kilometer westnordwestlich von Verdun. Umgeben wird Béthelainville mit den Nachbargemeinden Montzéville im Norden, Fromeréville-les-Vallons im Osten, Sivry-la-Perche im Süden, Dombasle-en-Argonne im Süden und Südwesten sowie Récicourt im Westen und Südwesten.
