Toponymie und Geographie
Die nach dem Heiligen Vedast (Gaston) benannte Gemeinde liegt 11,5 Kilometer nordwestlich von Amiens an der Chaussée Brunehaut. Das Gemeindegebiet wird von der Autoroute A16 durchzogen.
