Geographie
La Tâche liegt etwa dreißig Kilometer nordnordöstlich von Angoulême. Umgeben wird La Tâche von den Nachbargemeinden Cellefrouin im Norden und Osten, Saint-Mary im Süden sowie Valence im Westen.
