La Ferrière liegt etwa 26 Kilometer nördlich von Tours. Umgeben wird La Ferrière von den Nachbargemeinden Les Hermites im Norden, Monthodon im Osten, Saint-Laurent-en-Gâtines im Süden sowie Marray im Westen.
