Die Gemeinde Vivaise liegt zehn Kilometer nordwestlich von Laon. Sie wird umgeben von den Nachbargemeinden Couvron-et-Aumencourt und Chéry-lès-Pouilly im Norden, Aulnois-sous-Laon im Osten, Besny-et-Loizy im Süden sowie Crépy im Westen.
