Villemain liegt etwa 47 Kilometer südöstlich von Niort. Umgeben wird Villemain von den Nachbargemeinden Aubigné im Norden und Westen, Loubillé im Norden und Nordosten, Couture-d’Argenson im Süden und Osten sowie Villiers-Couture im Südwesten.
