Nachbargemeinden von Saint-Aubin-des-Chaumes sind Fontenay-près-Vézelay im Norden, Domecy-sur-Cure im Osten und Nordosten, Bazoches im Osten und Südosten, Neuffontaines im Süden sowie Nuars im Westen und Südwesten.
