Lage
Saules liegt etwa 20 Kilometer südwestlich von Chalon-sur-Saône. Umgeben wird Saules von den Nachbargemeinden Chenôves im Norden, Saint-Boil im Osten und Südosten, Culles-les-Roches im Süden und Westen sowie Fley im Nordwesten.
