Geographie
Diénay liegt etwa 25 Kilometer nördlich von Dijon an der Tille. Die Gemeinde wird umgeben von Saulx-le-Duc im Norden und Nordwesten, Is-sur-Tille im Osten, Chaignay im Süden sowie Villecomte im Westen und Südwesten.
