Geografie
Chaumont liegt etwa 44 Kilometer südöstlich von Bourges. Umgeben wird Chaumont von den Nachbargemeinden Blet im Norden, Givardon im Osten, Neuilly-en-Dun im Süden und Südosten, Bannegon im Südwesten sowie Chalivoy-Milon im Westen und Nordwesten.
