Aurora-AFX-Formel-1-Serie 1979
Die Aurora-AFX-Formel-1-Serie 1979, auch bekannt als Britische Formel-1-Meisterschaft 1979, war eine Monoposto-Rennserie, die nach dem Reglement der Rennformel 1 ausgefahren wurde.
Meisterschaft
1980 fand die zweite Saison der Aurora-AFX-Formel-1-Serie statt. Neben Rennfahrzeugen der Formel 1 war auch Fahrzeuge der Formel Atlantic zugelassen. Beim Großen Preis von Nogaro waren sogar Formel-2-Rennwagen am Start. Die Saison begann am 1. April mit dem Belgischen Cup in Zolder und endete mit der 15. Veranstaltung im Oktober in Silverstone. Die Gesamtwertung sicherte sich Rupert Keegan mit einem Vorsprung von zwei Punkten auf Dave Kennedy.
