Geografie
Carisey liegt etwa 24 Kilometer ostnordöstlich von Auxerre am Flüsschen Cléon. Umgeben wird Carisey von den Nachbargemeinden Villiers-Vineux im Norden, Flogny-la-Chapelle im Osten und Nordosten, Dyé im Süden und Osten sowie Méré im Westen und Südwesten.
