Le Fayel liegt etwa 15 Kilometer ostsüdöstlich von Compiègne. Umgeben wird Le Fayel von den Nachbargemeinden Canly im Norden, Longueil-Sainte-Marie im Süden und Osten, Chevrières im Südwesten sowie Grandfresnoy im Westen.
