Geographie
Die Gemeinde La Vernelle liegt etwa 55 Kilometer nordnordwestlich von Châteauroux. Sie grenzt im Norden an Selles-sur-Cher, im Osten an Chabris, im Süden und Südosten an Val-Fouzon, im Süden an Fontguenand sowie im Westen an Meusnes.
