Die Gemeinde liegt rund 30 Kilometer nordöstlich von Nevers am Ufer des Flusses Nièvre d’Arzembouy. Nachbargemeinden sind:
- Arzembouy im Norden,
- Montenoison im Nordosten,
- Oulon im Osten,
- Prémery im Süden,
- Dompierre-sur-Nièvre im Westen und
- Saint-Bonnot im Nordwesten.
