Geschichte
Die Brüder Lovo und Rahier schenkten 1050 Chozacum der Abtei Bourgueil. König Franz I. gab Chozacius den Rang einer Stadt. Die Bezeichnung Chouzé tritt erstmals in Cassinis Frankreichkarte aus dem 18. Jahrhundert auf.
