547. Grenadier-Division

Die 547. Grenadier-Division w​ar eine deutsche Infanteriedivision i​m Zweiten Weltkrieg. Die Division w​urde am 11. Juli 1944 i​n Litauen aufgestellt. Am 9. Oktober 1944, w​urde die Division umbenannt i​n 547. Volksgrenadier-Division. Die Division kämpfte i​n Ostpreußen u​nd wurde i​m Februar 1945 b​ei Zinten vernichtet.

Im April 1945 w​urde die Division nochmals aufgestellt u​nd an d​er Oderfront g​egen die Rote Armee eingesetzt. Im Mai 1945 g​ing die Division b​ei Schwerin i​n Mecklenburg i​n US-amerikanische Kriegsgefangenschaft.
