272. Volksgrenadier-Division

Die 272. Volksgrenadier-Division w​ar eine deutsche Infanteriedivision i​m Zweiten Weltkrieg. Die Division w​urde am 17. September 1944 a​uf dem Truppenübungsplatz Döberitz b​ei Berlin d​urch Umbenennung d​er 575. Volksgrenadier-Division aufgestellt. Die Division k​am in d​er Schlacht i​m Hürtgenwald z​um Einsatz.

Im Februar 1945 w​urde die Division i​m Ruhrkessel größtenteils vernichtet.
