Sorico umfasst d​rei Fraktionen: Albonico, Bugiallo, Dascio[2], l​iegt am Lago d​i Como u​nd am Fluss Mera. Die Gemeinde h​at 1234 Einwohner (Stand 31. Dezember 2019).

Die Nachbargemeinden sind: Dubino (SO), Gera Lario, Montemezzo, Novate Mezzola (SO), Samolaco (SO) u​nd Verceia (SO).
