Sebastianskirche
Sebastianskirche oder Kirche St. Sebastian, Heiliger-Sebastian-Kirche, auch Basianskirche ist ein Name von Kirchen, Kapellen, und Klosterkirchen, die dem Patrozinium des heiligen Märtyrers Sebastian, dem Nothelfer gegen die Pest und andere Seuchen, und der Soldaten, Kriegsinvaliden u. a., unterstellt sind. Gedenktag ist der Sebastianstag, 20. Januar (kath., prot.), 24. Oktober oder 18. Dezember (orth.).
Spezieller sind:
- Fabian-und-Sebastian-Kirche
- Rochus-und-Sebastian-Kirche, beide Nothelfer gegen die Pest
