Neure liegt etwa 31 Kilometer nordwestlich von Moulins. Umgeben wird Neure von den Nachbargemeinden Château-sur-Allier im Norden und Nordosten, Le Veurdre im Osten, Pouzy-Mésangy im Südosten und Süden sowie Lurcy-Lévis im Westen.
