Die Gemeinde Hinacourt liegt zehn Kilometer südlich von Saint-Quentin. Umgeben wird Hinacourt von den Nachbargemeinden Essigny-le-Grand im Norden, Benay im Nordosten und Osten, Ly-Fontaine im Südosten und Süden sowie Gibercourt im Südwesten und Westen.
