Geografie
Die Gemeinde liegt unmittelbar südlich von Parthenay. Umgeben wird Pompaire von den Nachbargemeinden Parthenay im Norden, La Chapelle-Bertrand im Osten, Beaulieu-sous-Parthenay im Süden, Saint-Pardoux-Soutiers im Südosten sowie Le Tallud im Westen.
