Geographie
Mareuil liegt etwa neunzehn Kilometer nordöstlich von Cognac. Umgeben wird Mareuil von den Nachbargemeinden Neuvicq-le-Château im Norden und Nordwesten, Rouillac im Süden und Osten, Sigogne im Süden und Südwesten sowie Courbillac im Westen.
