Geographie
Villeneuve liegt etwa 27 Kilometer nordnordwestlich von Bordeaux am Ästuar der Gironde. Umgeben wird Villeneuve von den Nachbargemeinden Plassac im Norden, Saint-Ciers-de-Canesse im Osten, Gauriac im Süden sowie (auf der anderen Seite des Ästuars) Soussans im Westen.
