Bis zur landesweiten Neuordnung der französischen Kantone im März 2015 gehörte aus den 11 Gemeinden Chouilly, Damery, Épernay, Fleury-la-Rivière, Mardeuil, Moussy, Pierry, Saint-Martin-d’Ablois, Vauciennes, Venteuil und Vinay. Er besaß vor 2015 einen anderen INSEE-Code als heute, nämlich 5137.
