Bourg-Archambault liegt etwa 55 Kilometer ostsüdöstlich von Poitiers. Umgeben wird Bourg-Archambault von den Nachbargemeinden Saint-Léomer im Norden, Brigueil-le-Chantre im Osten, Azat-le-Ris im Südosten, Lathus-Saint-Rémy im Süden und Westen sowie Montmorillon im Nordwesten.
