Geographie
Sambin liegt etwa zehn Kilometer südsüdwestlich von Blois in der Sologne. Umgeben wird Sambin von den Nachbargemeinden Monthou-sur-Bièvre im Norden, Le Controis-en-Sologne im Nordosten, Fougères-sur-Bièvre im Osten, Thenay im Südosten sowie Pontlevoy im Süden und Westen.
