Geografie
Barges liegt etwa 24 Kilometer südlich von Le Puy-en-Velay im Zentralmassiv. Umgeben wird Barges von den Nachbargemeinden Arlempdes im Norden, Saint-Arcons-de-Barges im Osten, Saint-Paul-de-Tartas im Süden sowie Landos im Westen und Nordwesten.
