Bellefonds liegt an der Vienne, etwa 16 Kilometer ostnordöstlich von Poitiers. Umgeben wird Bellefonds von den Nachbargemeinden Bonneuil-Matours im Norden, Archigny im Osten, Bonnes im Süden sowie La Chapelle-Moulière im Westen.
