Geografische Lage
Heresznye liegt unmittelbar an der Grenze zu Kroatien, knapp ein Kilometer östlich des Flusses Drau. Nachbargemeinden sind Vízvár und Bolhó.

Verkehr
Durch Heresznye verläuft die Landstraße Nr. 6801. Die nächstgelegenen Bahnhöfe befinden sich in Vízvár und Babócsa.
