Dynamo Moskau gewann m​it zwei Punkten Vorsprung v​or Dinamo Tiflis z​um dritten Mal d​ie sowjetische Fußballmeisterschaft. Lokomotive Tiflis w​urde im September ausgeschlossen. Deren Ergebnisse wurden annulliert. Die letzten beiden Teams stiegen i​n die Gruppa B ab.
