Fonds-Saint-Denis liegt im Norden der Insel Martinique, bei den Montagne Pelée und den Pitons du Carbet. Die Nachbargemeinden sind Saint-Pierre, Le Morne-Rouge, Le Carbet und Fort-de-France.
