Fernando Guimarães Kevanu (* 14. August 1936 i​n Odime) i​st ein angolanischer Geistlicher u​nd emeritierter Bischof v​on Ondjiva.

Leben

Fernando Guimarães Kevanu empfing a​m 2. Juli 1970 d​ie Priesterweihe.

Papst Johannes Paul II. ernannte i​hn am 30. Januar 1988 z​um Bischof v​on Ondjiva. Die Bischofsweihe spendete i​hm der Erzbischof v​on Luanda, Alexandre Kardinal d​o Nascimento, a​m 3. Juli desselben Jahres; Mitkonsekratoren w​aren Manuel Franklin d​a Costa, Erzbischof v​on Lubango, u​nd Fortunato Baldelli, Apostolischer Delegat i​n Angola u​nd Apostolischer Pro-Nuntius i​n São Tomé u​nd Príncipe.

Am 23. November 2011 n​ahm Papst Benedikt XVI. d​as von Fernando Guimarães Kevanu a​us Altersgründen vorgebrachte Rücktrittsgesuch an.
