Geschichte
Das Bistum Parramatta wurde am 8. April 1986 durch Papst Johannes Paul II. mit der Apostolischen Konstitution Venerabilis Frater aus Gebietsabtretungen des Erzbistums Sydney errichtet und diesem als Suffraganbistum unterstellt.[1]
