Svay Rieng (Khmer ស្វាយរៀង, IPA: [sʋaːj riəŋ]) ist eine Provinz in Kambodscha. Die Provinzhauptstadt heißt ebenfalls Svay Rieng.

Geschichte

Die Provinz, die weit in vietnamesisches Gebiet hineinragt, markierte im Vietnamkrieg eines der Enden des Ho-Chi-Minh-Pfades und erhielt im US-Militärjargon die Bezeichnung Parrot’s Beak („Papageienschnabel“).
