Sundance Film Festival 2022

Das 38. Sundance Film Festival fand vom 20. bis 30. Januar 2022 statt. Bei dem elftägigen Festival waren neben Lang- und Kurzfilmen auch episodische Arbeiten zu sehen. Das Programm wurde am 9. Dezember 2021 vorgestellt.[1]

Besonderheiten

Im Mai 2021 wurde bekannt, dass die 38. Ausgabe des Sundance Film Festivals hybrid stattfinden soll und Präsenzveranstaltungen in Salt Lake City sowie in sieben weiteren Arthouse-Kinos in den USA geplant sind.[2] Anfang Januar 2022 gaben die Organisatoren bekannt, dass aufgrund der COVID-19-Lage die Veranstaltung komplett digital stattfinden soll.[3]
