Pompiey liegt etwa 40 Kilometer westlich von Agen. Umgeben wird Pompiey von den Nachbargemeinden Fargues-sur-Ourbise im Norden und Nordwesten, Ambrus im Nordosten, Xaintrailles im Osten, Barbaste im Süden und Südosten sowie Durance im Westen und Südwesten.
