Geschichte
Das Bistum Mamfe wurde am 9. Februar 1999 durch Papst Johannes Paul II. mit der Apostolischen Konstitution Alacrem sane curam aus Gebietsabtretungen des Bistums Buéa errichtet und dem Erzbistum Bamenda als Suffraganbistum unterstellt.[1]
